Vinyasa and Yoga Nidra

A regular Vinyasa class followed by a Yoga Nidra. Known as yogic sleep, yoga nidra is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. During yoga nidra, you move into the state of conscious deep sleep. You are no longer in the waking state of consciousness, but you also move past the dreaming state of consciousness and into the deep sleep state. However, your mind is actually awake, so it’s often discussed as the state between being asleep and awake. This is why it is said that yoga nidra is so restorative for the body.

David started to practice yoga in 2003. After many years practicing, he chose to do his instructor course with Ellen de Jonge at Yoga by the way. He then continued his studies with a power yoga course with Baron Baptiste. It is in 2008 that he opens Yoga Company. He recently also completed a 500 hours training with Casa Ananda in Playa del Carmen, in Hatha yoga.  He now has today over 1000 hours of completed yoga studies, registered as a RYT 500 with Yoga alliance, and his yoga studio is a registered yoga school in 200h and continuous education, to train future yoga teachers. He now dedicates is time to teach almost daily in his peaceful studio, located in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
